What Really Happens in a Therapy Session? Your Psychologist will encourage you to talk about your thoughts. About your feelings and what’s troubling you. Don’t worry if you find it hard to open up about your feelings. Your Psychologist will help you gain more confidence and comfort. As you go through the therapy process, your Psychologist may ask you to do some “homework” — activities, reading or practices that build on what you learn during your therapy sessions — and encourage you to apply what you’re learning in your day-to-day life. Your Psycholgist’s approach will depend on your particular situation and preferences. Krisztina Lurås’s approach to therapy is with respect, tolerance and deep understanding of our ‘small differences and great similarities’ as people. Central is also working with clients from different backgrounds, ethnic -and cultural affiliation and language. How Long Does Therapy Last?
